Malaysians love cereal. But importers, note that apparently any attempt to import cereal into Malaysia has been obligated to possess an Import Permit (IP) and Phytosanitary certificate. This new regulation applies to the importation of every form of cereal regardless importation purposes. Â Notwithstanding, cereal importation under the HS Chapter 10, 11 and 12 are compulsory to adhere to mentioned latest regulation. This issuance by Department of Agriculture Malaysia (DOA) will be fully implemented on 1st August 2021.
