On *Saturday, 21 June 2025, our team came together for the first *ASK Talk of 2025 — a half-day internal training session designed to strengthen what matters most in any organisation: our Attitude, Skill, and Knowledge.Â
This initiative marks the beginning of a new chapter under our long-term training slogan: “Building Legacy” (2025–2030) — a commitment to develop not only systems and operations, but also people and values that last beyond the present.Â
🛠️ A Hands-On, Department-Led ApproachÂ
From 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, all staff gathered within their respective departments to focus on one of the most crucial foundations of work quality: Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI). The session was divided into two focused slots:Â
Slot 1: ReviewÂ
Each department took the time to thoroughly review existing SOPs and WIs, ensuring that what is currently documented still reflects real practices, remains relevant, and aligns with organizational standards.Â
Slot 2: Revise, Amend & ImproveÂ
Next, teams began to revise, update, and improve their SOP/WI documents. Whether it involved rewording clarity, adjusting steps for operational accuracy, or even creating new SOPs to reflect evolving workflows — this session empowered every department to take ownership of their processes.Â
🤝 Empowering Departments, Encouraging AccountabilityÂ
Unlike conventional classroom-style training, this session was *team-led and action-based, with *Heads of Department (HODs) playing a pivotal role in guiding, monitoring, and supporting their teams throughout the session. By working within their own functional areas, staff were not only more engaged — they were also more equipped to contribute meaningfully to process improvement.Â
This training model is part of our ongoing effort to promote active learning, accountability, and continuous improvement at every level.Â
đź’¬ Why ASK Talk MattersÂ
ASK Talk isn’t just another internal event. It’s a reflection of our belief that true growth doesn’t just come from top-down policies — it starts when every staff member understands what they do, why they do it, and how they can do it better.Â
By aligning attitude, building skill, and sharing knowledge — we’re not just improving performance.Â
We’re building a legacy.Â
